Reasons why a code may not be working:
Low Batteries: It is resident's responsibility to replace batteries on their smart lock.
Some Equipment is Needed
Phillips-Head Screwdriver (1)
AA Batteries - High-Quality Alkaline (4)
Steps Needed:
Step 1: Remove the lock cover with a small Phillips-Head screwdriver (the cover is generally on the back of the Smartlock)
Step 2: Please remove the current AA batteries and replace with 4 new AA batteries!
Step 3: Secure the lock cover by screwing it back into place over the new batteries.
Step 4: Wait a few minutes to let the lock finish its reset and processing!
Door plate not aligned: This can happen if the door lock, and plate are not properly aligned. You can pull the door towards you while putting in your code to see if that allows your code to be inputted in the device.
